How to Prevent Anonymous User from Posting

It seems no matter what I do, I cannot eliminate Anonymous Users from posting... How do I do this? Thanks for any assistance with this.

Sometimes, having to register will prevent a person from making a posting .You probably know not to post things online that could bite you later, but many of us do it all the time anyway often without even realizing it.
